Hi, I’m Elspeth – and I’m here to help you feel understood and supported.
If you’re struggling right now, I want you to know that you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I offer a space where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what’s going on for you—without pressure or judgment.
Why I do this work
I became a therapist because I truly believe in the power of being heard and supported. Life can be overwhelming, and sometimes we carry so much on our own. But change happens when we feel safe, seen, and understood.
I know that reaching out for help can feel daunting. You might be wondering if therapy will work for you, or if your struggles are ‘big enough’ to talk about. (They are. You are.)
Whatever has brought you here, you deserve support.
My approach
I work with warmth, curiosity, and compassion—helping you untangle what’s feeling heavy and find ways to move forward. We’ll go at your pace, exploring thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a way that feels safe and manageable.
I draw on a blend of therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) , self compassion, and mindfulness, tailoring sessions to what works best for you. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, ADHD, self-doubt, or feeling stuck, we’ll work together to help you feel more at ease in yourself and your life. I'm a certified ADHD coach with lived experience of ADHD so bring this knowledge and experience into my practice along with coaching tools and strategies if appropriate.
A little more about me
Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me doing yoga, meditation, CrossFit or relaxing with a book in hand, enjoying a cup of tea, and getting outside for fresh air. I know how important it is to find moments of rest and kindness for ourselves, and I bring that same belief into my work.
Let’s connect
If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. When you’re ready, get in touch to book a free 15-minute chat—so we can see if we’re a good fit.
After graduating from the Centre of Therapy and Counselling Studies in Edinburgh with a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & Groupwork, I went on to earn a professional certification as an ADHD coach at the highly acclaimed and accredited ADHD & Life Coach Training Program (ADDCA). I’ve been working in the field of mental health since 2018 as a mental health support worker and perinatal befriender and accredited with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
Accreditation demonstrates my personal commitment to meeting the high standards set by The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society in the following areas - governance, setting standards, education and training, managing the register, providing information, and complaints.
NCPS accreditation allows me to offer the highest quality, evidence-based therapy, with commitment to providing effective therapeutic interventions.
